Document Archive Help
ARCHIVE STRUCTURE:
The document archive is divided into sections just like a library. Each section is divided into states and counties. Find the section that best represents the information you are looking for. Then find the state and county you are looking for.
HOW TO ENLARGE DOCUMENTS:
Find the document you like and click its thumb nail to open the document. On the right you will see the enlarge drop down list. Click the size you would like to enlarge to.
HOW TO ADD COMMENTS:
Find the document you wish to comment on. At the bottom of the page you will see a ADD COMMENT box. Click in this box and fill out the information. Click SAVE when done.
OTHER OPTIONS:
Depending on your user permissions you will find various options on the right side. Some of these include the ability to edit the photo's properties, email to a friend, download, and more...
SEARCHING:
If you do not know the state or county you need the use the search to find documents. NOTE: a search for Bracewell will probably return almost every document in the archive. Instead use the first name or the advanced search. The top results will be shown. Expand your results by clicking the see all results button.
BROKEN THUMBNAILS:
This is a known issue and will be solved when the archive is moved to a new server. The image you are looking for is still there but it is in pdf, tif, or other format. The current version of the archive cannot create thumbnails for these file formats.
To view full size documents you will have to be logged in.
