Other places of interest include The town of Grantham home to Isaac Newton and also the birthplace of Britain's only female Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, the holiday towns of Skegness and Mablethorpe and the small town of Boston, once a major seaport which boasts many historic buildings such as the Boston Stump, the 272 foot tower of the 14th century St Botolph's church, used as a navigation aid. "

June 10, 2004. The information above makes the place where the original Bracewell's were born more than likely Yorkshire County and/or Lincolnshire County, Grantham or Lincoln, England instead of London. Most researchers believe that the original Bracewell's lived in Yorkshire County. These two counties touch and are north east of London on the east coast. It would make sense that after leaving Yorkshire and/or Lincolnshire Counties they would move further south, nearer London.

Finding John Bracewell's Will from Grantham, Lincolne County has made this connection much easier to see. The village of Bracewell is in a different County on the east coast, Lancashire England. We need to find when the first Bracewell moved to Bracewell or if some people took the name of Bracewell from the town and moved.

One other point to ponder or think about. Christening dates are the date they were Christened, not the date of birth. Plus the children could be brought from any place in England to be Christened in the Church of England in London.

It would seem, that with the new records available now, more research is needed for Rev. Robert's family history. Or we could be satisifed with half of the facts?? The truth will not destroy anyone but half-truths, assumptions and lies can destroy a family.
